Day 1 - Arrive Halifax (2 nights) Welcome to Halifax. A complimentary transfer is provided to the Trafalgar hotel. Your Tour Director is available after 6 pm to answer questions and welcome you to Halifax.

Day 2 - Halifax and Peggy’ s Cove Today's sightseeing tour includes the Citadel and the Public Gardens. This afternoon experience old sailing life onboard the historic Tall Ship Silva. Afterward, we continue to Peggy’s Cove, one of the most scenic fishing villages in the Maritimes. Tonight enjoy dinner at a specialty restaurant in Peggy’s Cove. (Full Breakfast / Dinner)
Day 3 - Halifax – Sherbrooke Village – Baddeck (2 nights) This morning we travel north along Nova Scotia’s eastern shore to historic Sherbrooke Village. We visit this living museum depicting a late 19th century maritime village. Later we cross the Canso Causeway to Cape Breton Island. Then on to Baddeck. On arrival we visit the Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site. (Full Breakfast / Dinner)

Day 4 - Cabot Trail excursion Today we follow the splendid Cabot Trail, explored by the Englishman John Cabot in the late 15th century. Then we'll drive through Cape Breton Highland National Park, home to deep-walled canyons, sandy beaches, majestic cliffs, and abundant wildlife. We return to Baddeck and the afternoon is at leisure. Day 5 - Baddeck – Wood Island Ferry - Charlottetown (2 nights) Our journey today takes us through Antigonish to the quaint fishing town of Pictou. Here we board the ferry to Prince Edward Island. Once across we travel through the scenic farmlands of the “Potato Capital of Canada” to quaint Charlottetown. (Full Breakfast / Dinner)

Day 6 - Prince Edward Island sightseeing & at leisure We begin the morning with a locally guided sightseeing tour of PEI. We drive up to the north shore to see Prince Edward Island National Park. Then enjoy a highlight of this “storybook” island, as we visit the Anne of Green Gables Museum. We will enjoy a scenic carriage ride through the lovely grounds. (Full Breakfast)
Day 7 - Charlottetown - Moncton Today we travel across the engineering marvel of Confederation Bridge to New Brunswick, and stop at Shediac Bay where we join a lobstering cruise. Back on shore, we enjoy a delicious lobster lunch. This afternoon, we visit the fascinating Le Pays de la Sagouine, before arriving for our overnight stay in Moncton. Day 8 - Moncton – Depart Halifax This morning starts with an orientation tour of Moncton. Next is quirky Magnetic Hill. Late this morning your Tour Director bids you farewell at the train station as you embark on an independent VIA Rail journey back to Halifax, where a complimentary transfer is provided to Halifax International Airport or to the Trafalgar hotel in Halifax for passengers extending their stay.
